read this shit!

When the box you shipped was unpacked, the labels were found loose in the bottom of the box and the bottles were unidentifiable. Because there was no way to tell which label went to which bottle, your entries were not judged. I know this must be a horribly frustrating thing to find out now, and I’m really sorry about it. I only found out about the problem yesterday when I was processing the Northeast database. I will refund the entry fees you paid; small consolation, I’m sure.

Cheers,

Janis

I sent my entries to arrive the first day so that they would have time to settle. They never made a single attempt to contact me about this....I COULD HAVE EASILY FIXED THIS PROBLEM!!!!!!

Look at it this way, you would have failed anyway... :asshat:

Seriously, that does suck, they probably didn't open the box until it was too late though.

I have a theory BooBoo! It sounds like total Bullshit to me. I think you're beers were so good that whoever opened them just pounded them and then didn't have anything left to judge so they had to make up some lame excuse. Sorry Brotha :(
Enjoy Great Beer!

I have a diligent and loyal crew made up of DOZE members that do all the pre-competition cellaring and post-competition scoresheet sorting. Without their help and dedication, we couldn't get the scoresheets in the mail with in the 3 day target that we set.

I'm very lucky to get assistance from Jamil. Our database is ready the moment the last scoresheet is handed in. If I get busy because of the Longshot release, he steps up and helps me. Just a good guy to have on your team.

Well, just got back my scores. Looks like I made it to the second round in Strong Belgium Blonde Ale. Brewed this beer back in November. Would you rebrew? Jamil says lager for 1 month. If I brew this weekend, I will be cutting it close.
