MoreBeer. Your hope is revived.
Does Morebeer sell magnetic valves for gas lines?
Here is a mash-tun, that I saw in a German Homebrewing forum and it's design inspired me ever since:
http://hobbybrauer.de/modules.php?name= ... d&tid=2473This system uses a magnetic valve for the gas line and electric igniters for the gas burners. But I think a pilot ligh should be easier to work with.
Now that go me thinking. Can I get all the necessary parts from a gas water heater. It has the burner, the pilot light and a way to regulate the gas. The latter may not be precice enough to hold the mash-temp within 1F (0.5 K).
What do you think.
Now quit growing your Shaungina and whining about not having time and money. Get out there on the streets like a real brewer and whore your ass out for loose change to build that brewery!
I'll be moving to Massachussets soon and I hope we can get a house that has a shed that I can convert into a brewery? Maybe I even have to build my own brewing shed. Now that would be a lot of fun to
