So, where did you end up going? If we didnt have all those cans (that's right, cans) and other shyte to lug around and take back to the hotel we would have gone right out. By the time we made our way back, we were pretty dead to the world. I'm not used to getting up at 5am, driving 4 hours, and drinking for 12 hours...all in one day. I'll pace myself better next year.

btw...it was good to hang with you too MacGruffus. Always nice to put a face with the name.

So, where did you end up going?

We ended up at a place around the corner with a group of the brewers drinking vintage Irish whiskey and talking beer rebellion. Garrett was picking cheese and food pairings. Nice.

MacGruffus, next time you're hanging out with Garrett I'd like at least a courtesy call. hehe. He's my beer hero (beer-o?). Truthfully, I'd probably have made an ass out of myself anyway.

SAVOR was a blast! So many great beers, so little time...I only was able to sample about half of what was available. Thank God my wife was the designated driver!

It was awesome to meet Sully and Stephanie and try Watermelon Wheat and IPA from a can!

Today's Washington Post said that the event was sold out and that they are considering another SAVOR next year and are also considering making it a road show.
