Southern California Homebrewers Festival

Tue Feb 14, 2006 4:08 pm

Anyone going to the SoCal Homebrewers Festival? Last year was my first time at this event and it was a great time. Good beer, good music, good food and good people. Maybe the Brewcasters can do a remote show from there. I will be wearing my TBN shirt to the event to promote the network. I'll even wear the TBN thong if they are available by then (maybe my wife should wear it instead) .

I'll be there along with most of our club members. We are hosting the independent brewers booth this year. So if you want to serve beer and your club is not hosting a booth, let us know!

Oh yeah, check out our website. There is a little more info there, but more to come as the fest approaches.

I saw that thread on brewcommune. I don't belong to a club, so I am considering taking you up on that offer. Either way, I will see you there.

I'm going to try to make it down to So Cal for that one. Both my brothers live very close to there.

I think it's time for a visit! :D

Come on down. Barbecue at my house! Seriously, if you do come down here, I would love to get your feedback on some of my brews.

Ok all you So Cal homebrewers, my brewclub, Brewcommune is hosting the non-affiliated brewers booth at So Cal Homebrew Fest, AND to encourage independent brewers to bring along and serve beer we are offering a limited supply of $10 brew kits. The kits include 10Lbs of 2-row and 1.5 oz of hops. Also, if you are interested we are having a mini comp for those who brew our "kits". Check out our website for more info:

www.brewcommune.com

Hope to see you in Temecula!

Oh, yeah the brewkits are going fast and the fest is fast approaching, so it is time to brew!!!

The Fest is over and the votes were counted. Ok, so I didn't win our popular vote comp, but I still had a great time. Drank lots of good beer a few great beers and shared some of my own creations. I even had a chance to share a brew with Dr Scott and Brewmasterbrad!
