Has anyone attended this and/or is anyone planning on attending? Looks like it would be a great time in the hill with some great beers.

I'm thinking about sending a couple big beers out there. I have a couple barleywines and a belgian dark strong sitting here I may enter. If I still have any of my RIS, that would go as well. Won't be able to make it out there though.

I have entered it before, can't remember if I got a 3rd place or nothing but seemed like a good contest. I know of a couple guys that go every year and have a lot of fun. I would definitely go if I lived in Denver.

This is one of the best beer fests around. Kinda low key compared to gabf, but what isn't? The selection of beers/mead is top notch and the pours are usually from a representatives of the brewery, which is pretty nice for having questions answered and stuff. They also have baskets of good bread situated around the room so you don't get sloshed on an empty stomach.

Badrock, you live 1.5 hrs away - you gotta go!

I'll be there all day Saturday and then back to breckenridge that night. If anyone is staying up for the weekend and wants to go skiing/boarding on Sunday -or- swing by for some apres ski brews, send me a pm. I just put in a 2 tap kegerator (pic: http://www.outdoorjunkie.com/images/kegerator_breck.jpg ) loaded up with coffee porter and a wee heavy (my big beers comp entry).

Hopefully i'll see some of you guys there.

I just got back from the festival and it was great! A lot more intimate than GABF and has more of an international flair.

The seminars were really well done, especially the Brewers Gone Wild seminar hosted by White Labs and Tomme Arthur's vertical tasting. I have a WAV file of these if people are interested but am unable to to upload because of the size (roughly 30Megs). If someone can help I'll e-mail them to you.

Definitely worth attending and the snow was awesome this year!
