About a week ago I made reservations at the Knights Inn. The place is just across I-25 from downtown. It is less than a mile from the Falling Rock, Flying Dog, Wynkoop, and Breckenridge tap rooms and right at 2 miles from the convention center.
A double room for Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights only ran $178 including tax, a lot less than most downtown hotels. If you can find someone to share the room, you can cut that in half.
The Budget Host Inn just up the street from this one is a bit more at just over $200 for the 3 nights.
You can get better rates if you go through these folks than if you call the hotel directly. http://www.hotels-and-discounts.com/
