I used those for a while before I bought 2 cases of 1 gallon jugs. They're awesome to use. I just can't drink it. I don't mind wine occasionally, but I've gotta be in the mood... and Spidey-whitey doesn't stop by often enough with candles & the Barry White mix tape.

It's a long trip all the way out to Boze from Ohio. Perhaps for the next Sully and JP MIXX Tape Show.

It's a date. Don't forget the candles this time.

Pics or it didn't happen :unicornrainbow:

Trick with the Rossi Sangria is to blend with some margarita mix. Tastes good but still hits you in the head with a sledge hammer the next day.

JUST MAKE MORE BEER.

You can always brew a regular 1.050 to 1.060ish 5-10 gal batch with the yeast you plan to use for the 5gal higher gravity and build a big enough pitch in the course of making a smaller beer. A lot of the high gravity beers come from smaller styles, just stay in the same family profile and build yeast from batch to batch by increasing volume a bit. Then you have a batch or two to drink and enjoy while the hi-gravity ages. Use Jamil's yeast calculator to get the numbers correct.

I've done these: 5 gallon English pale ale pitch to 10 gallon English brown pitch to 5 gallon English Barleywine
and 5 gallon AIPA to 5 gallon American Barelywine

On Tap: Whatever IPA, Oat Stout, Cider, Citra-Mosaic Hopped Cider, Cherry Cider.
Aging: Black Currant Lambic, Oud Bruin, Eng B-wine, 65gal barrel of scabby 3rd runs w/Rosalare-Lacto Brux -we just call T.E.D.
