You want even weirder. A couple hours before your post I was polishing off a growler of Deification that I brought home last weekend.

I prefer the Elder. Didn't they create a BJCP style just for Pliny? Will there be a "triple ipa" or a "double imperial ipa" catagory soon for the Younger? Us crazy west coast brewers, ha!
Anyway, lucky me gets to grab a 5 gal. sanke of "Elder" from 3-B once in awhile (if I can ever pull myself away from the "Drake's" and "Racer 5") and I find myself blending with it sometimes, to get a really hoppy porter or stout.

I agree Oz. Flufah you damn americans and your access to Russian River and New Belgium and Firestone and 21A and.... and dammit all, I haven't even tasted any of these beers and I think you are all ass pirates. Oz has had a chance to try them and now can't have them anymore... Thats gotta be nasty!
