Amen! I have a glass of my version in my hand right now. Not as quite as good as the original, but head and shoulders above anything else out there. Dogfishhead 60 through a randall would get my second place vote.

Try Speakeasy's Double Daddy. I've only had a few IIPAs but Double Daddy is really great.

I'll second this, I love my visit to the brewery back in May and I can finally get their beer locally.

Oggi's Hop Juice

Their Hop Whompus is great as well. But I like the color of the Hop Juice better, it's only about 5 - 6 SRM and it's also quite dry, too many DIPA's are far to sweet for me.

I would like to have a good double IPA. They all taste like chewing on a plant to me.

I have to agree with you. Pliny (at 65 IBUs) is about the end of "enjoyable" for me.
