From The Oldest Brewery In America: Yuengling Lager

The taste wasn't complex, but it did have more to offer than your regular American lager. I experienced sweet malt in the front and middle. In the back end, I was hit with this lemony/salty flavor that surprisingly wasn't off putting. This was light to medium body with a thin watery texture. Carbonation feel was soft that went well with the lemony finish.

All in all, this was a pretty decent beer. For around six dollars a six pack, you really can do worse. I definitely see myself buying a 6-12 pack of this and watching a sporting event or busting it out for a tailgate.

For those people that have had tried it, What do you think of this lager?

That's the beer I 'grew up' on. Went to school about an hour from the brewery. The bar we used to go to sold pitchers for $4, and that was only 7 years ago. Prices have gone up considerably since.

It's a decent beer for a relatively largely produced and distributed brand. Unfortunately I drank enough of it in college that I can hardly stand the taste anymore. And there seemed to be 2 side effects of massive consumption of Yuengling lager, a distinctive headache that no other hangover resembles, and awful beer shits.

Although there are way worse things out there for those two side affects... can't say I've ever had a Yuengling hangover... though I've only been really hungover a time or two (generally get full before I get wasted, and make sure to drink water).

Ahhhhhh.... the Yuengling twang. Your first case is delicious, your 100th case tastes like piss. I couldn't drink that stuff for about a decade, but I popped one last week and didn't get that usual urine-ness
