The fiz is gone! I made a batch of Irish Red . Forgot to add sugar before bottling. Can I put it back in the bucket and add yeast. and rebottle? Srmiller

I wouldn't unbottle and rebottle, but you might get some carb drops and put one in each bottle, or make a simple syrup and dose each bottle with a few ml. Calculate first, of course, to know just how many ml!

Yeah, I vote carb drops for ease. Next time stop drinking so much when you bottle!!

If using carb drops, just be wary if there is any carbonation in any of the bottles. There are lots of nucleation points on the drops and will cause foam over if there is carbonation. Not Mentos grade, but pretty significant depending on how much carbonation is in the bottle (if it hisses and you get carb smoke, you will get foam up).

You mentioned dosing with yeast. Probably not necessary. It will take longer at this point to get carbonation, but it will come around in time without more yeast. There is probably plenty of it still in suspension.

I prefer the simple syrup becuase you can boil it. You can get a plastic pipette from the pharmacy (usually like packs of 100 for like $15) easily sanitizable and disposable. boil up the simple syrup and put a fixed amount in every bottle (about a ml or 2) and it's easy and more sanitary.
