Bottle filling from botlles?

I have an English Barleywine that I would like to enter into a comp. Problem is that the bottles are New Belgium bottles with raised glass, which is a no-no. Any suggestions on how I can swith bottles? I thought about putting them in the freezer for a while and pouring into frozen bottles, but I dont know if this will work. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! I would really like to put these into the comp. and see how they stack up.

I have not done this, but have heard that if you chill both your bottles as cold as possible (dont freeze them though) you should be able to carefully pour one into the other. If you have the ability to purge your empty transfer bottle first then by all means do so. This should help you retain most of the CO2 from the original bottle. Try to cap on foam if there is any produced. With such a big beer like a BW it will probably not be greatly affected in terms of oxidation especially if it is judged relatively soon.

BEER, MEAD, and CIDER entries must be in bottles that hold a minimum of 10 ounces in
volume, and that will fit in a standard case box slot. The measurements of a standard case box
slot are 2.75 inches long x 2.75 inches wide x 9 inches high (7 cm x 7 cm x 22.9 cm). Bottles
may be of any color and must be free of ink, paint, or paper labeling other than competition entry
labels. Obliterate any lettering or graphics on the cap with a permanent black marker.
Bottles with Grölsch-type swing tops and 22 oz Bomber bottles are not allowed.
Corked bottles are acceptable.
Odd-shaped bottles are acceptable as long as they can fit in a standard case box slot (2.75 inches
L x 2.75 in W x 9 in H; 7 cm x 7 cm x 22.9 cm). Bottles with raised lettering are acceptable if

3. Bottle Entry Requirements: Bottles must be 12 ounce brown or green long neck bottles clean and free of any labels (inked, paper, or otherwise), raised glass designs or any other identifying marks. Grolsch type swing tops are unacceptable. Soft drink or other printed crown caps are acceptable. However, they need to be blackened out with a black marking pen to assure anonymity in all judging situations.

Brewinhard, thanks for the tip. I chilled it down in the freezer and when I poured it, there was the slightest bit of ice in the bottle. Absolutely ZERO foam! Worked like a dream. Thanks again. I bottled a couple more like that, so I can have exactly what they are getting, too. Gonna drink it on the day of first round judging, in a week, to see how she worked out!

WOW! What a day. It's like all of the forces that dont want me to enter beers into comps. came out of the woodwork and reared their ugly heads.
Had a house warming party for a friend yesterday. I brought kegs over the day before. Gassed em up and all that good stuff. Drank all day yesterday, had a great time.
Picked them up today and apparently one of my kegs had a leak overnight with the gas on it. Bye-bye gas. So, no gas to bottle with. Went to the brewstore to drop off the two entries that I already had bottled. I almost bought one of those little tiny cartridge fillers to fill the rest of my entries. Didnt do it, though. I figured I would spend the money on swapping my co2 tank out.
Kind of a shitty deal, but oh well, there will be plenty more contests and I am going to bottle a few of each batch from now on, and put them away. I think I am going to go ahead and get the beergun sometime in the new future. Right now, I am using the old tube on the cobra picnic faucet trick. Works ok, but I am sure the beergun will do a better job.
