How long to carb? Can't find answer.

Wed Jan 12, 2011 8:03 am

Morning all,

Finished my keezer last weekend, pics to come, so I can now carb my kegs at temperature. That said I have looked and am running out of patience. About how long will it take to carb a 5 gallon corny to 16 psi at 47 degrees F without agitating it?

Thanks for any help.

About a week to ten days to get fully carbed, although it will usually be close after 5-6 days. I personally try to let them sit for two weeks, but part of my reason is to let any remaining suspended yeast settle out.
