I would say you are good to go then.....when I use my carb caps, they are only holding pressure for maybe 2 hours max.....not intended for long term storage, I use mine to take beers to parties and HBC meeting, since I keg all my brews now.

It seems to me like everyone is missing the important issue here . . .

You loaned your drill to your brother-in-law?

NEVER loan out your tools. Take them over and help with the project, but don't ever let them out of your sight.

I have one of the 15 dollar caps. Short term I think its way berrter than a growler.
