I tried to get the Oak Barrel to buy me a few cases of those to no avail. It seems that Cal Glass has changed hands and no longer makes the small bottles.

2 pages of posts, and nobody mentioned the PHAT new (small) belgian bottles from Russian River and Lost Abbey (the half size version of the Belgian 750ml)? Granted, each one will cost you $13-16 to procure, but they are initially filled with such rare and sour goodness....

Just picked up two bottles of Angel's Share 2009. No, you can't have any.

The new Russian River 375s are beautiful, but they're actually a bit larger by volume than a 12 oz bottle. If Williams Brewing ever gets the green ones back in stock, I may have to make a trip down there. Does anyone have leads on small brown crown cap bottles?

Of course. As long as you soak the cork, there are no issues.

I'm just manning up and putting my english barley wine in belgian 750s. It clocked in on the lighter side, so it's still manageable (9.5%).
:jnj

Hmm.. small champagne style bottles would be sweet though. I hope somethign comes into stock. I'll paint green ones if I have too.
