Right... that is essentially what I can already do with the drain hole that is already there, but I'd like to make it a little nicer.

andersonimes; I feel like your crack dealer :) Did you get that ball valve setup I sent you? I have some other parts for you. I think I have your email and address - will forward on. You can measure the bulkhead diameter for the pilot hole when you get the parts. The QD is not checked for the fridge so make sure you have the micro ball valves on the inside of the fridge so you do not purge the kegs of CO2 when disconnecting. I may send a ball valve from my "inventory" to install on the inside. Talk to you later!

Actually have all but one part today - will send on. I think I still have your address. Thanks! Should be self explanatory when you get them. Checked coupler goes on the gas side.

Kbar - are you saying it is possible to use something higher end to attach gas lines to corny kegs!!?? If so, do tell! Do you just replace the pin lock connetion or both the connector and keg side post?

In this instance, I am going to get Anderson some external disconnects and bulkhead fittings to run through the fridge walls as his CO2 tank is too big for inside the fridge. As for being able to change the style directly on the keg, that is another story. I have not had one apart and do not know what the keg offers in terms of the stud. I need to do some research. If it was a pipe or standard SAE/ISO stud, then the there are a lot of options out there, for valved or checked couplers in lieu of the standard pin and ball lock styles that have been traditionally used. Since no one is actually making Corny kegs anymore (assume?), we can not make a manufacturing change of mind set, so we have to do with what we have. Let me research the interface between the keg and post QD. Thanks!

Strange threads on the Cornelius brand. Not an industrial standard in my field.

I'm with Push on this one. No need to try to be a fancy pants. If you really want to get fancy, find a rubber grommet at home depot to fancy up the hole you drilled through the side of the fridge. It would probably look a lot more professional than a shit ton of hardware hangin on the outside of your fridge.
