Keggerator questions.

Wed Jan 13, 2010 7:39 pm

Okay my dear old parents are buying a new refrigerator after 17 years the old one works well but the shelves are cracked and broken and its just generally old.
I got the idea since the old one still works that i would turn it into a keggerator but since its a side by side instead of the old fashioned over under im not sure it will work.
would appreciate any input on what all ill need besides the fridge and kegs.

Read and go through the links in this thread: http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=8715

With it being side by side, you might be able to put in a shelf half way up, to allow cornies above and below and get to the normal 4-6 keg capacity. Good luck, and let us know if you have more specific questions.

You're welcome to givet the shelf thing a shot, but it didn't work out for me. I ended up just having 2 kegs, which was fine with me at the time. The CO2 ended up sitting on the shelf.
