Albany NY - Show Me the Money

Tue Aug 15, 2006 11:38 am

Here is a link for a contest in Albany, NY and is open to any home brewer willing to cough up the $6.00.
It has a best of show prize of $ 250.00. That can buy a lot of hops.

I am sure a TBNer could show the East Coast how it is done!

Bring it on you Pacific Coast Hop Heads!!! My Club, The Saratoga Thoroughbrews, is presenting the 11th annual Battle of the Brews and I would love to see entries from TBN bring it on strong. I'm not a judge, yet, but I'll most likely be stewarting this. What I will do, if I hear enough of you are going to enter, is wear a TBN shirt or something to represent.

P.S. I don't enter contests but I may be entering a Southern English Brown Ale from a Jamil recipe.

I have a bourbon vanilla imperial porter and a spiced cider all bottled up ready to go. I think I will send them when the time comes. I will, of course, enter as a member of the TBN club.

I've entered and judged that contest before.

They do indeed have some pretty good brews. I think I only took home a couple of ribbons.

I think I may enter my Amarillo By Morning Pale Ale just for some BJCP feedback. I am going to enter TBN as my club, since I am not affiliated here in Houston... besides, TBN has taught me almost everything I know.

Hey sorry JM... hopefully I can get it on the board earlier and better advertised here for next year.
