What's in there??

Thu Nov 05, 2009 3:43 pm

Trying to find a cool way to identify the beer I have in the kegs. I have a dual tap tower. I don't want to just stick a piece of paper next to the taps, trying to find and original way to identify the beer for friends that come over.
Would like to see what you all have come up with...any suggestions?
Thanks

I put up a whiteboard...ok, by "put up" I mean set on top of my keezer. I draw a big arrow and write the beer name plus a brief description. It is the best I can do at the moment. I would like to get some of those chalk board tap handles one day...or a whiteboard model, that would rock.
On Tap: Dark Mild (x2), Honey Hefe

Buy some of that chalkboard paint (it can be magnetic too) and get some cool chalk colors and have at it. I think I'll eventually do that. Not sure how the paint will behave with the paint on the kegerator, but you could make it work. Maybe cut out a piece of plywood to fit around the base of the tower, paint it black and then paint it with the chalkboard stuff.

Or, if you really have some time on your hands, make some little metal, keychain like signs and hang them off of the faucets.

I rock the whiteboard behind the tap handles.
