Can I ship a full keg?

A guy on another board I post on shipped a keg from MA to IL for $35 via UPS. Apparently, Greyhound will also "ship" items for you, and it's really cheap. You just drop it off at the terminal and pick it up on the other end. Someone said they shipped 4 empty cornies for $13.

Damn man that is awesome advice. I would have never, never thought of that.

When you used UPS or other shipper did they pick up from your address and deliver to another address? Or was it necessary to pick the keg?
