I've had the same issue. You have to order a left handed thread to right handed thread nipple. I found one online, but can't remember where. It works fine. I put a primary inline with a couple secondaries for a 4 regulator setup.
Stabwell Brewing

BN Army Corporal

On Tap:
American Brown Ale
Milk Stout
Janet's Brown Ale
Murphy's Over the wall Amber
American Wheat

Primary:
Citra Hop IPA

Mcmaster doesn't have that particular fitting.

Found the site. http://beverageequipmentco.com/BEC_Co2_regulators__parts.htm

The part number is 55496-4. That should allow you to connect a primary to a row of secondary regs.
