WOW!
When they said the beer would be nationally distributed that sorta went over my head. I see why they had to make 1200 bbl. That's a lot of 9% beer.

Tasty
yep, yep, yep, yep

Well of course it does. But its not as much about a statement of my brewing prowess. I feel good that although it's not actually homebrew, it's has the spirit of homebrew and I get to share it with thousands of my brewing brothers and sisters across the country. Everyone around me and those that listen to the Sunday Session know that I love to share the beer I make.

Many other brewers in the same competition had beer that could have won. I only represent them and those that are still perfecting their craft.

Tasty's sweet nectar just hit my lips and went down so easy and smooth. It might be the first time something so Juicy has been in my mouth...I know it is the first time today at the very least.

This is coming out all wrong. Let me start at the beginning... Yesterday, I saw the 6 pack in a local shop here in Atlanta. So I had to pick it up. I put that bad boy in the chillchest so it would be ready for me tonight. As soon as I popped the top, I caught a whiff of the aroma. Delicious!

I poured carefully to keep the yeast in the bottle, (thanks for the heads up from the other posters) but VIgorously enough to provide a gorgeous, billowing head. I have not ever tried Pliny the Elder since I am over here on the East Coast. (Side note - I will be going on a road trip starting in one week, from San Francisco to Seattle. Russian River is on the itinerary.) I have no reason to try to compare this to another beer even if I had tried Pliny; it is simply outstanding which is no surprise since Tasty won its way in to long shot royalty.

Tasty, thanks for a killer beer!
