Well fart. Looks like This pack will never make it into Tennessee. Just spoke with the distributor for Sam Adams in Nashville. They said they will not be able to order it.

Any DFW BNers seen this? I am heading that way tomorrow. I'd like to grab a couple of six packs.

I just had one and really enjoyed it. It maybe could have been a touch drier, but def a big hop bomb. I would like the opinion of Tasty! Is this what Pliney tastes like?

Hey Tasty,

Nice mugshot....did Sam Adams give you any say in how your picture looked on the bottle (any approval rights)? I was curious about how you think it turned out?

Thanks!

Just tried this yesterday. It arrived in the AZ area on Wednesday for $9 a 6-pack. Very excellent Double IPA. Not quite as good as Pliny, but damn close. The hops are a little spicier and less cohesive than Pliny, but only minutely so. I generally despise DIPA's, but this one is amazingly drinkable and the aroma is simply fantastic. Quite an awesome job Tasty!

I just wonder how close the bottled product came out compared to your original recipe?

It's sort of cloudy...I wonder if they didn't filter it as much as you

Mine was rather cloudy too, I thought it was even bottle conditioned with the particulate collecting at the bottom of the bottle. Almost hefe like with the way it dropped hazy into the glass. I just chalked it up to mad hopping!
