I also use these...but because of the forced carb issue I prime straight in the keg, about 120g of corn sugar seems to work.

You can force carb with a sankey coupler just like a corny. You just have to pull out the check valve behind the nut that holds the gas line tail piece on. If that makes no sense I will dig out the camera and take a few pictures.

You can also install spear and gaskets about 1-2 degree Plato above your FG, remove coupler, and let it carbonate naturally. You can still adjust carbonation later if more.less is needed.

A photo would be helpful.

I am assuming you can not force carb just by leaving the sankey coupler as is?

With removing the check valve, do you reinstall it after you force carb to dispense?

Thanks

its pretty simple once you take it apart. Remove the nut from the gas inlet, and there will be a little gray or white rubber piece inside the couple, just pull it out, reinstall the gas connection and your set to go.

Wow, now that I read this in the light of day I realize what a dumb thing I wrote yesterday. Of course you do NOT have to remove the check valve to force carb, you just hook it up same as you would for dispensing, keep the keg cold, and wait. For filling and CIP the valves have to be removed, but not for force carbing through the gas attachment.
