Re: keg filling question

That's why I was asking. A Sanke keg would be a pain, and I haven't seen a 15 gallon keg that would be easy for a home brewer to use.

I have filled 5 gallon sankeys before. It's not all that hard. There are a few websites that tell how to do it if you just google it. All you really do it take out the ring spring, pull out the dip tube, fill it like you normally would and put it back together. Getting that ring spring back in is the most challenging part but it can be done with a little patience.

If you want to force carb it from your tank you have to buy the coupler that allows it to be hooked up to a tank rather than those hand pumps that you normally see at parties. When I used 5 gallon sankeys I cask conditioned

So you options are:

1. Make 3 batches, fill it up, and cask condition it.
2. Fill it up with 1 batch and buy the coupler to hook up a tank to it.
3. Turn it into a fermenter, kettle, or mash tun.

I would turn it into a kettle and do 10 gallon batches.
