New to the forum

Greetings all,
I have been listening to the show sense 2005 and read a lot of the forum but have never really posted. I just moved from Hawaii where I started brewing a few years ago. I built my own all grain setup which does not look pretty but works well so far. I have not had the chance to brew on it much do to being in the Army and deployed a lot. I am currently in the Middle East doing a one year tour. My family is back in Tampa where I will live when I get back from this place. Thankfully I will be home for some R&R next week and can not wait to have some good beers. Any brew pub or brewery recommendations in the Tampa area?

What part of Tampa?

I'll be in town 6/4 - 6/8, hopefully the Cent-Com wing can get together for a live meet.

Thanks for being a REAL soldier!

My unit is based on MAcdill AFB but I have a house in Brandon, worst part is I have a 5 tap beer fridge that is empty, and from what I hear they dont fill corny kegs in florida. I guess I will make do until I get back in December and brew my own.

Thanks for the support!

I will be in Tampa on the 4th for some meetings, let me know if you want to meet up for a beer that night. It would be great to meet you and buy you a beer for risking your life in the middle east on behalf of our country. No one in the BN Army ever gets shot at.

I am just building up my keg supply, only 3/4 of a keg on tap right now, but five empties in the garage soon to be filled, or I would bring one over for you to drink while you are on leave.
