What up bitches!

Tue Apr 29, 2008 11:27 am

Hey I just joined the forum. I've been brewing for about 2 years now, and love to make beer. I am an all grain brewer, and currently am brewing on a home made system inspired by the b3-1550. I am 30 yrs old, married and have a 6 mo. old daughter. Recently I moved to Elizabeth CO, just outside of Denver, from Tacoma WA. If I had to pic my current favorite style is APA, but I love to try new styles all the time. Anyway I just wanted to drop in here and say hey to you guys.

Ok, well I do brew in the basement w/ propane  I do ventilate w/ a 3000cfm industrial fan, open the windows and open up the basement, and I use a co2/carbon monoxide detector to make sure I don't kill myself :) Here is the stand w/ out the kettles. I made this completely from scraps that I recovered on a job I was doing. I also paid for the pump w/ copper and brass that I scrapped from the same job!

This is my sprinkler that I made just to have something different. I wish I would have taken more time on the soldering, but oh well. It is height adjustable so that I can put it just under the water surface to avoid HSA when recirculating the mash

Here is the stand w/ kegs and cooler mlt

This is my homemade ugly double coil 50' ic that does a great job.

This little tub is what I use to keep the temps up on my ales. I have a little pump and a couple aquarium heaters in there connected to a Ranco, works great.

Finally this is my lagerator, which has a 1 week old urquell type lager going on.

Nice setup. I like the way you put the taps through the side of the frig. I was thinking of doing that to avoid the tubes getting the the way of the door.

Awesome immersion chiller, you could freeze your wort with that thing!

I just joined the forum last week, listen to a live show if you have not yet. It is like a virtual kegger every Sunday.
