I started smoking in the Army back in '85. I just quit 2 yrs ago.
Glad I did, no more of that persistent cough, nor the constant jitters looking for a fix.

The big problem is the weight. I gained about 35 or 40 lbs since. Not good :(

Congrats on quitting. I'm not a smoker, but I've been battling Copenhagen and Skoal Straight (and lost a nut in 2000 because of it) for about 20 years.

Tobacco is a real bitch, but stay strong.
