Water Profile Suggestion for AB Clone? (STONE AB that is!)

Mon Feb 11, 2008 2:31 pm

I'm brewing an Arrogant Bastard clone this weekend and lately I've been building water profiles. Any suggestions for a something similar to what STONE might use in their brewing waters? I usually start with RO water and build from there. My first thought is Burton on Trent. (I will be using the Rogue Pacman yeast.) Any suggestions?

I'm not sure how Stone filters their water but, you can read Escondito's municipal water report here:

http://www.ci.escondido.ca.us/depts/ut/reports/2006.pdf

The water conditions are on page 3.

I also thought of the St. Louis AB when I read the title. I was all set to suggest finding a couple Clydesdales and collecting a 10 gallon urine sample.
