Yeah, I thought every pirate liked a finely crafted butter knief to carve a plate of 5 different aromatic cheeses. It can bring the more sophisticated AHHRG! in anyone.
Yeah, we final tossed back a few tonight. It didn't turn out too bad. I do have to say I think that the beer had a small cidery taste. I think it might have to do with the 1 1/2 cup of brown sugar added (bump'n on UP) to the wort. I had a hard time getting a lot of the junk to settle to the bottom of mrbeer keg, and I was like a 4 year old at a candy store because I couldn't wait any longer to bottle, so it was a bit cloudier than it should have been.
I actually have the book Home Brewers Companion by Charlie Papazian. I finished reading it last night. I picked it up back in December when I went up to Chicago on a trip. I know it's the addition to The Complete Joy of Home Brewing, but what can ya do? I've been listening to the archive almost everyday now and it's really helpful. I've learned more detail about brewing than just simple Google search matches from this show. I'm this close to auctioning off my soul and giving the charity to the BN, and write it off on my taxes. Thanks a lot guys.
