Hello from Philadelphia

Hey all!

I just wanted to pop in and say hi, as I've just recently started to get into homebrewing. I'm currently working on a Pirate's Gold Ale which was just transferred to secondary last evening.

I've been enjoying beer for years, but now that I'm making my own I appreciate it so much more.

I'm excited to hear from all of you and hopefully have some nice discussions about the art and I'm also hoping to learn a lot from all of you!

-Mike
Ideating - Kolsch, Hefeweizen, Raspberry Wheat
Primary - Chocolate Stout 1.5
Secondary - None.
Bottles - Pirate's Gold Ale, Northwestern Honey Amber Ale

Just be careful who you take "brotherly love" from around here. I'd steer clear of Bub and JP... just sayin'.

Welcome anyways!

Well about two weeks... haha.

I had been talking about it for years adn finally fronted the cash for a solid kit. (No Mr. Beer kit).

My first batch hasn't even finished yet - it's a Pirate's Gold Ale. I will be bottling tonight.

Already thinking about the second batch. Might try something wild and off the wall.
