Hops Direct all done for 2007

Found this on their web page today:

After taking time to review numbers & count inventory, it looks like the 2007 crop sales are done.

and the "for sale" areas for both pellets and whole hops are empty. At least they are gearing up for next year and not getting out of the business entirely. The whole page is worth a read.

So, 2007 crop means 2008 hops? Meaning that they are out for 2008?

No. I think it means they are out of hops until the harvest this summer.

2007 crop = hops that were harvested at the end of 2007... IE the ones you would be buying now if they had any. They will have more around September of 2008 or so.

Sometime later in march if I remember correctly. Late march early april.
