With all of the pot leaf stickers on there I can see why you need two switches for making "love".

OK, WhiteBeard. Just so you are aware... Bub hates you. He doesn't know it yet - but when he sees your post - he will. I do too. My wife will hate you after I tell her the reason that I am spending countless hours polishing my keggles (instead of working on house chores) is because of you. Thanks!

Seriously that is a sick fucking system. Can you get a closer shot of the control panel? You rock.

I'm pretty sure Bub saw it, then left the room with a roll of paper towels. He'll be back soon with his breathless, slightly sweaty commentary no doubt.

I agree with everyone above in that I hate you. All hatred aside though did you adjust the width and length of the frame to fit the kegs, or are the specs the same?
I think I've had about enough beer tonight...Now I need some Whiskey to sober up

How close of a shot do you want???

The "pot leaf" stickers are actually Buckeye leaves.....the same ones worn on the Ohio State football helmets. Since I was born in Ohio, and the stand is called Brutus (the OSU mascot) I thought they were perfect.

OK, lemme try and answer all the questions if I can remember what they were.........
How did I get the kegs SO shiney.....first I took a 4 1/2" grinder.....and put on one of these little fellas:
Image Image
then followed it up with the little white one. On the green pad, I used a #4 buffing compound, and the white pad I used the #6 compound.....all these items were purchased at Lowes...in the tool section. I did the entire keg with the green pad first, then went back with the white pad....then polished everything with some metal polish I got here: www.metalgloss.com , that was it for the shining.....each keg took me about 1 1/2 to 2 hours.......but I think they look KILLER!! 8)

As far as the size of the stand goes, it was made to the EXACT dimensions of Brutus Ten in the Nov BYO..or you can see it at http://www.alenuts.com/brutus.htm

I made a few minor adjustments, like putting the electronics in a box, just a standard $16 elec. box from Lowes, and all my gas and elec. are run on the outside of the frame, where Lonnie ran all his thru the frame.

I think that's all the ?'s I can remember....hopefully I will fire it up this week-end.and get some brewing done.

 P.S.....SORRY if I get anyone in trouble with their SWMBO...just blame it all on me!

That's great! Thanks for the detailed instructions. That brings me to one more question, have you had any problems with rust? I would think that stripping away all of the oxidization would make for perfect rust conditions.
