Just wanted to say "Thanks Jamil" because the last 2 beers I've brewed have been from your recipes (the one's posted on the Bonjour website...my book is coming!). The pale ale was tweaked with a Summit dry hop addition but these last 2 batches have been some of my best beer ever. I don't know how they would do in competition (yet) but I'm loving them and people are scarfing them up.
I kegged a Southern English Brown I brewed 2 weeks ago. I force carbonated it today and I must say it's truly a treat to enjoy draft beer at home. The beer is still a little rough around the edges but I think once it drops clear and has another week to settle in the keg it's going to be stellar. I can't tell if it's going to be too dry and roasty and be a "northern english" or if the malt profile will rise up and be the Southern English I intended (I ordered regular chocolate before realizing I should have ordered pale chocolate from B3). Either way, I should have this and a Summit Pale ale to offer to family and friends over the holidays.
So thanks Jamil and everyone at TBN for helping me make better beer!
