Cold CO2?

I just got a keg-erator as a gift. The CO2 tank has a braket for mounting on the back, outside of the unit. Is there any problem w/leaving the CO2 tank inside the fridge? I want to push the fridge back against a wall to save space.

It will work fine either in or outside the fridge.

Generally no, but your regulator might not last as long and your tank might leave rust-rings on the bottom of your kegorator.

Don't freak out when you put it in there and the high pressure gauge reads lower (couple hundred psi) than you see at room temp (1000psi).

When i first made my kegerator, i started with a single keg with the CO2 inside for space and also to keep the neat and clean appearance. Once I upgraded to three kegs, there wasnt much room left in it (full size kitchen fridge) so i opted to run gas from the outside. I drilled a hole in the side, ran the line in, and sealed to hole. The tank sits pretty right along the side and looks good. I would say if you can run it on the outside, that way if you have to adjust the pressure, its on the outside an no need to open up the fridge everytime. The inside of mine looks like spagetti with co2 lines and beer lines. Good luck-Crut

The hose might be too short but I guess I can always buy a few more feet of red gas hose.
