Greetings from Eastern Nebraska

Sun Jun 17, 2007 7:32 pm

Hello all from the home of the College World Series. Just wanted to say hello to all of you, and to thank Justin, Doc, Jamil,German Vixen and everyone else for "Saving my life, one beer at a time". I stumbled across the BN about a month ago, and have been listening to the podcasts for the last two weeks. I used to listen to talk radio for quite some time, and to be honest I found myself more and more pissed about the world. Now that I have Justin and the gang 3 hours a day along with Jamil's show, I have a much better attitude about everything. So THANKS, you saved me! My only problem is going to be when I run out of old shows to listen to, and have to settle for only that weeks shows! And thanks too Jamil for making me see the importance of the yeast.

Dang it Henning, we like your tat but could you shrink it down a little so we can read the posts?

Bennington, welcome to the Brewing Network! You may have figured out that most of us are nuts, but most of us make decent beer and we all have a good time.

Are you active with the Omahops? If not, you need to come to their picnic on the 29th at Lake Manawa. Contact Frank down at Fermenter Supply for directions.

Can't make it on the 29th, got suckered into the fireworks show at Memorial Park. I am going to try to get involved when work settles down.

Henning, thanks for resizing that avatar.

Bennington, if you can't make it on the 29th, come on down to the Omaha Arts Festival this weekend. I will be serving beer for Upstream Brewing on Friday night.
