Missouri floor sweeping IPA

Sat Feb 24, 2007 1:51 pm

I brewed this last weekend, based on a recipe I got off of the beersmith website. I made a few mods, by adding most of my leftover hops. I was wanting to brew a monster hopped IIPA, and think hit it here.

Give me your thoughts and opinions.

Kegged yesterday, was way over the top on the bitterness scale. I know we cant taste the bitterness, but the hop flavors are way up there too.

Thats what I was trying for, the highest hop flavor I could get.

:D

No sink, just hops. This was very bitter going into the keg as expected, so I had to make it better by adding more hops!!!

DRY HOP BA-BEE!!!

Sean

Bottled and tasted several times since.

The hops are way over the top, but the malt isnt there to support the high hoppiness. Next time I brew this, and there will be a next time, More malt, lots more malt.

I love the aroma of this bad boy.

 :D
