Software Upgrades??

Fri Mar 23, 2007 5:23 am

For the past several days when I log in each morning my auto login is disabled. So I log in and tell it to remember me, and it does for the rest of the day.

The REAL problem is that my searches are often reset, so when I search for new posts since my last visit I get nothing. I don't mind searching manually, but it is a bit of a pain in the ass and takes longer.

Is this a function of the software being upgraded, or something else??

I had a similar issue with a different iteration of phpBB2 once. It was linked to the url I was pointing to.

Obviously, cookies must be enabled and don't delete them (or auto delete depending on your browser and OS) when you quit the browser. Also, on the obvious list, no program is changing your system's clock one way or the other, presumably.

So, are you going to: http://www.thebrewingnetwork.com/phpBB2 for the forum? Every time?

Just some thoughts. Good luck, fascist pig.

There are 2 cookies. The first is the phpbb2mysqi_sid and it expires at the end of the session. The second is the phpbb2mysql_data which seems to expire after 24hrs. I cleared the cookies and went back in and it reset to 24hrs from that time. Firefox is set to keep them until they expire.

And for you, Pushy (   Get it... PUSHY???   ) I go to the main page, click sponsors a few times and then go into the forum.

Peace... I mean FASCISM!
