So all of you young pups can suck it!

I wonder if Northern Brewer has a senior discount...
Gimme oysters and beer (and Durian) for dinner every day of the year...

I have to disagree with everyone... The vip dinner was excellent! Great food, good music and even awesomer people. The vip was very exclusive and limited to 100 people and it was great. The party afterwards was just that a party! More like a concert which is what i expected. My only advice guys is if you wanted quiet go to vip, if you dont like crowds or loud music dont go to the party/concert.

Glad your experience was better, what you expected. The logistics of the VIP option wasn't possible for us. We didn't get back from the DFH tour until around 7:00. Plus, it was a little pricey for a group of eight. Next year in GR, I'll probably wait to see what options are open before I pull the trigger.

I'm 27 and also hate loud music at a bar, so it's not just you AARP members. I like loud music when I'm alone in my car or have headphones on, that's it. Never in a bar. Drinkin' time is quiet time for me. Judging by your description, I'm glad I couldn't make it. Although I very seriously contemplated it given the close proximity. I couldn't make it to NHC, but thought about driving down for a night and BNA8.
