You might look into a state or federal energy efficiency rebate program or one from your utility company - we got some cash and a tax write off when we upgraded our regular fridge to an energy efficiency one plus they hauled away the old fridge. Just a thought.

It's a long way to PA, dude. There's a lot of stuff that was aged in bourbon barrels: New England Cider, Belgain Quad, and Russian Imp Stout.

I can be there is 48 hours should you need me.

Now, she really likes having homebrew on draft. Hopefully, the fridge can be repaired at a reasonable cost and I can use it for fermentation. It wouldn't have to work hard to maintain 68F--energy inefficent or not. And I get a new kegerator, too.

Your wife is a very intelligent woman!

+1 Does she have an equally intelligent sister?

She has an equally intelligent sister, but she's very into wine, not beer.

Finally got someone to look at the fridge. Turns out that a wire to the fan wore bare (don't ask me how that could happen) and shorted out. The compressor and fan motor were OK. Back in business!

Are you in the York Homebrew Club? One of your members (Danielle?) contacted us about doing some competitions or something together.
