You know I almost agree with you on that. I think it would be just as good without it, but on the other hand I really don't care for smoked beers & I find that it's in the background enough in Tumbler that I don't mind it. I had that conversation with a friend either last year or the year before & he couldn't find the smoke until I pointed it out. I could see it being a deal breaker for some with sensitive pallets.

I almost want it to be more if they are gonna have it in there. I like Rauchbier, and smoked porters, but I found it the note in Tumbler so subtle it was almost distracting... that being said, by the 5th beer, I didn't notice the smoke at all...
