I received my results back from Minneapolis and I represented the BN well.

I took a 1st with a Belgian Dark Strong. But not any Belgian Dark Strong. This was the first beer I ever brewed. It was The Number 8 extract kit from northern brewer and was a 4 year old beer. Scored a 43.5. Needless to say I had good guidance before I started brewing.

I also took a 1st in Saison with a score or 37 that was adjusted to 41 in Mini Best in show.

2 out of 4 entries are on to the second round.

I got my scoresheets from philly 4-5 days after judging. Very quick.

Chicago got everything wrapped up at the club meeting Wednesday. I can vouch for that since I stewarded the last category. All scoresheets should arrive real soon.
