Anybody help?

I keep getting this message on my computer than says I don't have enough memory on my computer to close some programs and try again. But I don't have any programs open and I feel so stupid because I don't know what is wrong. Can this be fixed with a really large hammer?

Do the Microsoft shuffle (shut down and re-boot). Some times memory leaks can cause the problem you are experiencing. Would also be worth checking that you have all of the latest Windows patches/updates installed.

Give it away and call Dell, Mort. They sell machines for $300 that make the PCs of yesteryear look like punch-cards.

I think we figured out the problem. I should have plenty of memory because I have a gigawatt or something like that. Milt knows a little more about these things than me and he looked at it last night. He cleaned out my cookies and some other stuff and defagged me. I did not know my computer had cookies. Whatever he did, it seems to be working better except for some reason I had to log on here this morning. It used to just log me on. Anyway, thank you for helping.
