Just doughed in a pumpkin spiced ale. My first attempt at one of these and I made my own recipe. I hope it is a good one. Seems like it will turn out nice, in theory anyway. Big brew week, here. Gotta get a bunch done before classes get to demanding.
Just mixed up a 2.5 gallon batch of cider that came out to 1.112 pitched 6 grams of muttons yeast. Plan is to ferment 2.5 of 14.5 percent alcohol and then dilute it to 5 and get around 7 percent with 1 lb of amber syrup from dark candi to the keg to back sweeten.

My first Oktoberfest, and lager. I wanted to brew last month but just got the chance today. Made a big starter with german bock yeast. Going to pitch at 50F.
