Ray Daniels
Nate Smith
Larry Sidor
John Maier
Denny Conn
Many more, but these are the shows that I have quite recently listened to. Denny is probably my #1 for helping me accept the fact that I am pragmatic.

I hate to take anyone's balls directly into my mouth and go directly against the rules set forth by the post, but:

JZ deserves a mention - soooo much info... Tasty (yep, yep) and Doc, too. Because of those three guys, homebrewing is better. Period. The service J provides with the blindly stupid fuckin' shit JP says (with a little dose of knowledge thrown in) really gives an all-around great listening experience. Had it not all been put together in the way it has been, I wouldn't have listened as much and, it would follow, that I wouldn't have learned as much.

Non-regular (which is markedly different than, though not mutually exlusive with, "irregular") guests:
1. Dr. Charles Bamforth
2. The Whites
3. Stefano Cossi and Kelly Ryan from Thornbridge (Kelly's now at Epic)
4. Colin Kaminski
5. Shea Comfort
6. Scott Vacarro (for his session and CYBI shows)
7. Matt Brynildson (similarly for his CYBI contributions...soo much knowledge)

Seriously, Projewcer Scott, get ahold of Shea Comfort, Vacarro, and Brynildson and get some shows scheduled.

Also, we didn't ever hear how the Tasty/Colin pale ale ended up turning out. I know I'd be super interested in hearing about how it all wrapped up.

Thanks again, BN.

Great thread! Made me go back and load some of these old shows on my iphone for listing in the car. I really like Gordon Strong. I wish he was on more, maybe make him the third musketeer on "Brew Strong. :unicornrainbow: "

+1

For as "pretty" as J finds Matt Brynildson, I'm still surprised he hasn't been a main guest on the Session. I've listened to his numerous CYBI appearances and think he definitely deserves a spot on the Session to talk brewing and drop some wisdom.

Not sure I've listened to the Captain Lawrence show, I will have to check that out tonight and see what Scott Vacarro says.

Yes that was Matt's first appearance (and maybe why he hasn't comeback :D

For me

1. Shay Comfort - The mixed yeast info was great
2. Mike Faul - made me want to make mead and experiment
3. The Brothers White
4. Dan Gordon/Mufasa I would like to hear both in the studio at the same time
5. Chris Graham
