Killer Scoth ale recipe?

Sun Aug 07, 2011 4:07 pm

I'm hoping for an all-grain clone recipe for Scotch Silly. If not a clone then a tried and true recipe for a big fucking delicious, chewy scotch ale. This will be my 3rd all grain recipe since I made the move up from extract. I have TBN Can You Brew It - Moose Drool in the seconday and Obsidian Stout in the primary. Sweet little 6lb 8oz baby jesus, I love this hobby!!

Here is my "big fucking delicious, chewy scotch ale". Only scored a 43 at NHC, but it is damned good. I had terrible efficiency with this batch due to some really old base grain. Was shooting for an OG of 1.140 but only hit about 1.122.
