BJCP category help

Tue Aug 02, 2011 12:47 pm

I am going to enter a competition for the first time and am unsure about what BJCP category and subcategory to enter 1 of my beers. I have 3 total entries: a Saison ( Obvious), a watermelon wheat (Thinking fruit beer), and the base for the watermelon (American Wheat). Is there a category close to American Wheat? Am I just over looking it. Sorry for the novice question, but I have never thought about entering competitions until this year, although I have been brewing for quite some time.

Thanks for your help!

Should be category 6. Light Hybrid Beer. Specifically, 6D. American Wheat or Rye Beer

I'd suggest bookmarking bjcp.org

Good Luck!
