Phoenix Beer? Anyone, anyone?

Fri Jul 29, 2011 8:58 am

I have a friend that will be in the Phoenix area for the next few days. Anything I should have him bring back to me? I am not sure what the rules and regs are for hand-carrying, but he said he would grab me some. I borrowed him my car to get to the airport, so he feels obligated to return the favor, so I am pretty sure he will not disappoint!
You Phoenix BN'ers got any good local Phoenix beers that I must have? I'd be willing to bet you do!
He is interested in going to some brewpubs, too, for some local flavor.
Thanks Guys! :jnj

I can't give you any advice on Phoenix beers, but if he is planning to bring them back in carry-on luggage you're screwed. The TSA doesn't allow liquids in containers larger than 3.4oz to be carried on.

TSA website

If he's got the stuff in checked baggage, then you should be fine.

Yeah, I figured he would have to have it below. I know I would love to bring a sixer to drink on my next flight! :jnj
