Making a simple American Wheat this Memorial day.
OG 1.044
70% 2 row
30% Torrified wheat

Hop bursting this one with Magnum and Crystal. Should get me to about 25 IBUS. Then dry hopping it with some citra, Crystal and Magnum. Going for the hop profile you find in SN Torpedo, Just in a smaller beer. Fermenting cool with WLP 029 Kolsch yeast.

A big Thank You goes out to our service men and women!

"No Short Measure" from BCS will be done today after work. Everything is measured, and ready to go. I have the babysitter (my friend Stu) starting the mash water before I get home from work!
Only thing I am doing different is adjusting my 4.5 ekg to the books 5.0 aau.

Based on conversations with the brewers at Golden City and with Randy Mosher, I put together a recipe for a rye gose. Just doughed it in. I have my fingers crossed in hopes of avoiding the stuck sparge from Hell. 88% rye and wheat in the mash. Lots of rice hulls.
