Homebrewed Credit Card thieves....

Thu Mar 31, 2011 6:35 pm

Well since I can't seem to get any response from the vendor after 6 weeks of trying and der furrier refuses to tell me why I have been banned, and there is a 100 page thread about it over "there", I am wondering if there are any here who purchased from AHS since January and then had their credit card info compromised? I would love to drop the subject, but a banning and then a non response from a company that prides itself on customer service just makes me more suspicious.

There was a thread on here about the same issue.

As for the company stuff you could contact and file a complain with the BBB (which isn't going to do much of anything really but it pacifies some people) or write the company a business letter explaining the situation, how you were treated, how you would like the problem to be solved, and you have relayed your experience with said company to many of your home brewing friends.

As for the forum ban, TOS (the other site) is nice, but it's a good ol' boy society there. I wouldn't lose sleep over it.

If you take what I post here literally, you're retarded. I'm here to fuck around, have a good time, and learn about beer. You mean nothing to me and I mean nothing to you.

Yes, my card was compromised. They finally got around to admitting there was a problem, and emailed out a 10% off coupon that I think has already expired. Good thing there are plenty of other upstanding homebrew stores for me to order from in the future!
